MicroChem Corp. is pleased to announce that on October 1, 2002, a regional sales office was opened in Pleasanton, California to more effectively support the growing west coast business. This office provides sales and technical support for MicroChem's proprietary resists; PMGI & LOR lift-off resists, PMMA and SU-8 resists, as well as distribution of Shipley micro resist products. Janice Collins, formerly Business Development Manager at Dupont Photo masks, Inc., manages the territory. Janice joined MCC in October and operates in the role of Western Regional Sales Manager. At Dupont, she spent the past 5 years addressing the unique image transfer needs of emerging industries and companies. Prior to this, she held a variety of positions within the electronics industry, including product development of resists, chemicals, and substrates. Collins earned a master degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan.
